Controversy in Ukraine related to Gambling business
Gambling business has been banned in Ukraine since July 2009. It is considered to be reintroducing by Ukrainian government. The reason behind it is that the country is facing debt and conflict with Russia and legalizing the gambling, casinos, lottery and other betting games can boost the economy of the country.The businesses who wish to operate gaming industry in Ukraine ought to apply for license. For it, the companies will have to be financially very good and it must be based in that country. One restriction is there, as only the hotels with more than 200 rooms can run casinos. Darren Keane pointed out that this restriction will lead to many difficulties those hotels runners might face. It will limit the slots and table, relaxation areas, casino restaurant and other concerned facilities.
Starting a gambling business in Ukraine
Kiev in Ukraine is one of the most attractive tourism destinations among the neighboring countries. Operating gambling business there is huge profitable idea for any entertaining business. There is a good potential in running a gaming business in Ukraine although it involves some local market risk. Darren Keane said that country in present scenario is not in a good position as some neighbor countries have well developed and legalized entertaining markets. But he remarked that if government there allows foreign investment in the form of gaming business then it would be easy for Storm International to run entertainment business there.
